I find it hard to resist the emotion of appreciation. Whether giving, receiving, or witnessing it in action, I’m in love with everything about it. As a parent, I think it may be one of the most influential gifts you can give your kids. Every member of the Carter family expressed aptness in the art of appreciation and it was pure joy to see them cuddle, play, and sit in awe of their newest arrival. I have no doubts, the appreciation they share will produce amazing human beings both small and tall.

Minneapolis Child Photographer | In Fine Feather

When a baby turns one year old, a whole new world is on the horizon. For beautiful little DaEliza, she spent her first birthday becoming acquainted with all things girly — specifically, tulle and feathers adorning an amazing dress. And to top it all off, she got to hear her favorite song performed by her two favorite people in the world; Mommy and Daddy. It was so entertaining to see DaEliza light up when her parents sang to her, but even more fun to capture all her curious, sweet, and happy expressions.

After several years of friendship, we’ve never found an occasion to argue. But if we did, it would likely be over mint. Specifically, one’s distaste for it and another’s passion for it. Without pointing a finger at the guilty party, let’s just say we don’t look at mint in the same light.
Although we see things differently, it’s those individual perspectives that work in tandem to capture life and bring out the most in your family photographs. We do that by offering a fun, relaxed experience and a variety of well-made custom products showcasing your photographs unlike any other studio — making the importance and uniqueness of family bonds tangible.

When your child is a baby, every bit of progress seems momentous. And it truly is. Sitting up, learning to say “Momma”, and eating solid foods are all tiny steps in a life full of both big and small steps. We love to capture all stages of life, because every experience works together to form who your child will become. It is amazing to realize your baby’s future steps will likely involve driving a car, falling in love, and solving the world’s problems. We were thrilled to spend time with Miss Ari and her parents — we definitely can’t wait to see what steps she takes next.
