Eagan Newborn Photographer | Early Arrivals

When babies join us earlier than expected, you can’t help but marvel at their fragile, tiny beyond belief state. It’s sometimes hard to image how fast they will grow into vibrant little people with curious and entertaining personalities. For these beautiful twins, my 4 month old nephew, and so many other preemie babies, I’m so thankful for the amazing medical care which allows them to grow into one of the most beautiful forms of love this world knows.

Although spring hasn’t officially joined us, I can’t resist the temptation of spring colors right now. Especially when you find a baby girl who looks beautiful in every shade of yellow, teal, and lavender. I can hardly wait until the outside world blooms and I can photograph short people and their tall counterparts in the wide open spaces. In the meantime, I’ll spend my time bringing a little spring to my indoor sessions.

Babies have nothing better to do than to be cute — often times undeniably cute. While this easily draws me in to any baby, I’m always surprised by the variety of expressions you see from each and every baby. Happy, sad, sleepy, curious — it’s hard to not get wrapped up in a baby’s face when in one moment they are zonked out and the next looking at you with a contagious joyfullness. Of all the gifts in this world, babies just might be at the top of my list.

Edina Newborn Photographer | A New Friend

Spring is an amazing time of year. Second only to summer, preferable to fall, and a million times better than winter. And what is more spring-like than a brand new bouncing baby boy? This little man is not only lucky enough to join the world during an awesome time of year, but he’s starting his life with a sweet and wonderful sister. Time will only tell the adventures these two will experience together. We can think of nothing better than photographing these two little ones as they grow up together. In the meantime, we just want to soak up the moment of this tiny new friendship in the making.

After several years of friendship, we’ve never found an occasion to argue. But if we did, it would likely be over mint. Specifically, one’s distaste for it and another’s passion for it. Without pointing a finger at the guilty party, let’s just say we don’t look at mint in the same light.
Although we see things differently, it’s those individual perspectives that work in tandem to capture life and bring out the most in your family photographs. We do that by offering a fun, relaxed experience and a variety of well-made custom products showcasing your photographs unlike any other studio — making the importance and uniqueness of family bonds tangible.

Minneapolis newborn photographer | Tiny and new

Life is filled with moments we do not have the ability to recall. Especially when we are tiny and new to the world — these times are unique and fleeting and they are never truly ours until we see them. For many new parents it’s easy to opt out of portraits of a newborn because, let’s face it — a busy life just got busier. However, it is these very images, you will look back on and cherish the tiny vulnerability of your growing child. And likewise, your child will have the opportunity to experience the connection and love they benefitted from, but did not remember specifically.
