Eagan Newborn Portraits | Griffin

I’m shamelessly delighted when I have the opportunity to photograph a baby with lots of fluffy hair. It might come from the fact I didn’t have any hair until I was practically a toddler. Or maybe it’s just too darn cute to resist. Griffin may have missed his morning nap, but that didn’t stop him from bringing his ridiculously cute smile to go with his adorable locks. It was a great way to spend a very cold morning and I can’t wait to see what kind of hair he is sporting at 1 year!

This year’s card designs are highlighted below and include 16 fully customizable text and colors. Custom cards are also available upon request. The order deadline for holiday cards is December 5th. Twin Cities Newborn Photographer | Family Session

When it doesn’t warm up fast enough in the Twin Cities, I tend to grab my camera and head to a warmer climate for a little change of scenery. On a recent trip to Portland, Oregon, I was lucky enough to photograph this beautiful little lady and her parents. I love to photograph babies within the first two weeks of life to capture how truly tiny they are when they arrive. However, when a baby is a few weeks older, I’m treated to lots of personality in the form of smiles, winks, and big yaws. I had a great time with these three and their beautiful tropical garden — now if it would just stop threatening to snow here in Minneapolis!

Bloomington Newborn Photographer | Alex & Libby

Life is full of little surprises — like the day you find out you’re blessed with not one, but two babies. All the sudden your child comes with a little partner in crime and your world becomes infinitely more interesting.

I love to experience families expanding and the beauty of sibling relationships forming. That is even more true when twins come into a family with a brother or sister waiting for them. Not only do I experience the cuddly closeness of twins, but the also the sweet curiosity of an older sibling. Moments like this are fleeting and I am so excited to capture them to live on. Once Alex and Libby arrived, their older brother Ben was already at an age of intense learning and interest. It was such a pleasure to watch him observe, hold, and kiss his new friends.

Twin Cities Family Portraits | Baby Syd

I like to photograph families just about anywhere, but when it comes to newborns, I’m especially drawn to the intimacy of home. Home is not only cozy and comfortable, but portraits taken in the home are more personal and can evoke memories for years to come. It barely takes any time for the tiny bundle in your arms to become a racing toddler, then all the sudden they’re off to school. When I photographed Syd, I wanted to capture his sweet, curious nature and the closeness of his parents. Cuddle time seemed to be a top priority for Syd and who could deny him with that beautiful face? It was such a pleasure to photograph these fleeting moments and I can’t wait to photography Syd in his next stage of life.
